When I hear live brass world music, my soul comes alive. Some of my favourites styles are: Balkan brass, Gypsy brass, Dutch carnival brass, Nepali brass... etc. Also check out a contemporary group called Beirut with Balkan brass influences and the New Zealand group Mamaku Project, their music has traces in tracks like Kowhai has come..
